At Red Canyon Family Medicine, we believe in making a positive impact in our patients’ lives by providing exceptional medical care to the families we serve in Fruita and the Lower Valley.

Our friendly family clinic, Red Canyon Family Medicine, is located in the Kokopelli shopping center near Enstrom’s Candies, just off of I-70 in Fruita. We offer ease and convenience to local residents, and as a division of Primary Care Partners, our patients have access to all the services provided by the Grand Junction PCP Care Village. This includes physical therapy, nutrition wellness, behavioral health counseling, diagnostic imaging, lab services, and DOCS on Call, our after-hours clinic. At Red Canyon Family Medicine, we value our partnership with our patients, the community, and each other. Our focus is not only on delivering quality healthcare but also respecting the importance of our patient’s time.

PHYSICIANS

Christine Tardif,
Doctor of Medicine

Dr. Tardif attended medical school in Pennsylvania, at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1997 and completed her residency at University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ from 1997-2000. Since completing her residency, she has spent her years practicing in a variety of settings. Dr. Tardif has experience in outpatient care, nursing homes, hospice care, inpatient and emergency department care. She has also participated in disaster aid in Haiti and Kenya. One of her favorite activities is travel – she has been on every continent (except Antarctica).

Dr. Tardif enjoys seeing patients of all ages and believes that the best medical care comes from a good relationship with your healthcare team, and healthcare providers are here to educate you and be a partner in your health journey.

ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS

Cassidy Sanders,
Physician Assistant 

Cassidy completed his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at University of Utah- School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT. He then continued on to A.T Still University in Mesa, AZ, receiving a Doctorate of Medical Science with an emphasis in Physician Assistant Education. Cassidy is originally from North Dakota and has been a Grand Junction resident since 2021. Cassidy has been with Primary Care Partners since 2022, having started at DOCS on Call.

He is specifically interested in overall health with a focus on prevention of disease. He is also very passionate about education and teaches at Colorado Mesa University in the Physician Assistant program. He is happy to be involved in teaching students and serving his community.

Cassidy spends his free time, outdoors, with his wife and their two Pomeranians.

Jessica Harrington,
Doctor of Nursing Practice

Jessica Harrington is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Red Canyon Family Medicine. She completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2017 at Colorado Mesa University and was invited and joined Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing upon graduation. Jessica strives to provide high quality, holistic, patient-centered care for her patients throughout their lives.

Jessica has served the community in a variety of ways. Prior to obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree, she was a nurse at Community Hospital where she worked in acute inpatient care in medical and surgical nursing. Jessica has served on several committees and was also a preceptor to students, newly hired nurses, and new graduate nurses. She continues to enjoy patient education as well as wellness and health promotion. She is a strong believer in a supportive and collaborative work environment through a solution-oriented approach to patient care.

Jessica spends her time away from work cooking and playing outside in our beautiful community.
