Medical Nutritional Therapy & Diabetes Education

Medical Nutrition Therapy & Diabetes Education provides information addressing a wide range of health issues. If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, weight loss issues, or other diet-related diseases or problems, you may benefit from a consultation with one of our certified diabetes educators.

Vanessa Carter, is a registered dietitian and a certified diabetes educator. She graduated with a BS in Human Nutrition and Food Science with a concentration in Dietetics from Colorado State University. She counsels patients on nutrition related conditions, and has a special interest in maternal and child nutrition. She is also fluent in Spanish.

For appointments, call 255-1576. A physician referral is required. We are located at 3150 N. 12th Street at Fairmount Health Park.
